Currently hooked onto this HK drama - Steps. I like BERNICE LIU!! Very ABC and pretty. I think she really slimmed down alot as compared to her earlier shows like Jie1 Da4 Huan1 Xi3. Actually Xu Zi Shan also not bad -- Miss Hongkong wor..the only thing which does not boost her popularity is that her roles can be quite boring at times.
My colleague and dear were telling me AKIRA is a good brand for playing *ahem* dvds. Haha. With that recommendation, i persuaded dear to bring me to Tampines Giant to purchase the Akira $49.90 dvd player which comes with 2 free microphones (which i will most likely cast them aside). I went back and tried to play the discs, still CANNOT! OMG. waste my $$$. Was damn farking suay.. my colleague bought the Akira dvd player and she has got no problem with watching the disc.
Luckily there is a 7 days exchange policy. Few days later, i went to Vivo Giant and exchanged for a different set under AKIRA again. This time i bought the $58.90 dvd player which comes with 2 speakers. I haven't tried my disc yet cuz dear brought it home and said he will test it for me first. He thinks i'm a sotong when it comes to technical stuffs. But i really know how to connect ok!! Hmpf. Afterall, the subject i studied was something related to IT, so i'm definitely not a blur sotong to <----- that extent ----->.
Well, he suggested that i take his ICHIBAN dvd player if the new one still doesn't work. Very smart hor.. he takes the NEW dvd player while i have to use 2nd-hand de. I insist to take my brand new dvd player even if it is unable to play my friend's discs. I just don't like 2nd-hand! Haha. Lalalala~~~
